Dargah Sharif -The Tomb of the Sufi Saint, Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, is what first comes to the mind on hearing Ajmer. During the 11th century Chauhan ruler, Aiaipal founded the city. Other places to visit are Taragarh Fort built by Prithiviraj Chauhan. A fabulous embankment built by Anjali by the lovely lake Ana Sagar some 800 years ago and 500 years later Shahjahan erected 5 beautiful marble pavilions.
